Why I Love Farming
My favourite skill that I have in RuneScape involves farming. This is a subject that confuses many players. I still remember the day that farming became available. I signed in to OSRS gold see an enthusiastic message from my person who had introduced me to this game, telling me how he had reached in the 3rd level.
For many players, the excitement of the morning quickly turned into frustration as farming seemed to force you to hold off on the opportunity to learn it. The first thing to note is that this is not the case. For the majority of crops, you are able to make a payment to the farmer so that he can watch your crops and then to do something else. (Currently on the map, the next step after every requirement for a crop is the amount to be paid which makes it even easier than it was before.)
Then, I like having the option to relax and wait. Farming is a perfect fit for my desire to have an occasional distraction to finish my work. While I was in college and high school I was constantly preparing my farming skills while studying or working on tasks.
I keep getting pulled back In
After my graduation from college when I decided to stop playing RuneScape using my initial account, thinking it was the final time. I was too busy with freelance work to consider playing simultaneously.
However, I then began making YouTube during my free time. It's not very successful however that's not the main reason. I created a new account to take a video of myself playing questing in a complete contrast to how I usually perform. However, in my recording time, I was able to play similar to how I played.
Playing on YouTube
I find time to play, even when I'm working on freelance work, since I've basically convinced myself that this is work for itself. (I make essentially no money through YouTube. The recording of videos isn't the actual job. It's a lie I tell myself to ensure I don't feel guilty for spending time playing games.)
Even as I am playing on YouTube I am taking a break from OSRS. I was beginning to consider that I had given up on playing OSRS for good. I'm currently playing many other games on my YouTube channel. And due to the method I use to make RuneScape videos takes longer to make. They're not as effective to create, as I don't break them into 10 minute increments rather than completing one entire mission in the span in one single video.
A Detraction from the GRE
Then I began applying for graduate programs. I had to write my essays and learn to pass the GRE. What did I think was useful to accomplish while editing my essay and using the study guides I used?
I'll give you three possibilities on this question.
The Conclusion OSRS is like an old Friendship
It seems that regardless of the things I try, I come back to RuneScape or, at the very least, OSRS since I stopped keeping up all the changes some time long time ago. It's easy for me to dive back into the game and grow some watermelon while I read books or write.
It's nostalgic, too. It's nice to have RuneScape as a constant throughout my life for this long. It's been a part of my life when I turned thirteen. With the advent of OSRS It's remained similar in a way to what I began playing to allow me to return to it as if I had a friend, much like the acquaintance who first introduced me to it, and my other old pals who I played with. I created my one and only Internet acquaintance when playing RuneScape and I regret not having conversations with him.
So, I suppose that's the essence of RuneScape is for me, and that's why I keep returning. It's a safe, relaxing and RuneScape gold a friendly environment for me.
